Mining & Crafting Guide

How to mine resources and craft equipment in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Last updated: March 23, 2026

Mining and crafting are core activities in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin that let you gather resources from the open world and turn them into powerful equipment. This guide covers everything from mining basics to advanced crafting recipes.

Mining Guide

Mining is done by interacting with mineral nodes scattered throughout the open world. Walk up to a glowing rock formation and press the interact button to mine it. Each node yields 2-5 items.

Crafting Guide

Crafting is done at Workbenches found in towns and camps. Different workbenches handle different item categories. You can also place your own portable workbench.

Craft portable campfires for cooking anywhere in the open world.

Key Crafting Recipes

Potion of Charm

Required for capturing pets. Craft at any workbench using Wild Herbs + Empty Bottle.

Portable Campfire

Cook anywhere in the field. Requires Iron Ore + Flint + Wood.

Engraved Equipment

Endgame gear with special substats. Requires rare ores + dungeon drops + Gold.

Equipment Upgrading

Crafted equipment can be upgraded to increase its stats. Upgrading requires Enhancement Stones and Gold. Higher upgrade levels have a chance of failure.

Tip: Don't over-invest in early game gear. Save your Enhancement Stones for endgame Engraved Equipment.

Tips

Mine every node you see โ€” Flint is needed for cooking, and ores are always useful.

Mineral nodes respawn โ€” return to the same locations periodically for more resources.

Upgrade your workbench โ€” higher-tier workbenches unlock better crafting recipes.

Sell excess ores for Gold โ€” if you have surplus common ores, selling them is efficient.
